Indirect Tax Accountant in West Sussex

Well respected company in the Gatwick area is looking for a for an Indirect Tax specialist to manage the compliance and reporting process for international sales tax European VAT and GST
This is a 3-4 day a week interim role that has potential to go permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the head of Tax and will be responsible for attending to the UK companies indirect tax enquiries raised by the HMRC, maximizing any relief and recovery of indirect tax and advising on internal projects including transaction work and international contract negotiations. You will also be required to improve controls for the group, interpreting complex tax law and apply this into practice.
You must be (ACA /CTA / ACCA) qualified. The ideal candidate will have a strong VAT combined with the extensive knowledge of UK tax legislation and is available to start immediately.
