Our client; on the outskirts of Worthing are looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant to cover maternity leave for 3 months with possible extension thereafter.
This individual will cover a varied and challenging workload including: ·Maintaining the general ledger, oversight on banking, AR, AP, fixed assets and inter company accounting. ·Preparing journal entries, accruals and prepayments ·Supporting with balance sheet reconciliation ·Ensuring compliance with internal controls accounting process (i.e. SOX 404). ·VAT reconciliation ·Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures ·Develop and interpret reports and records for managers/ stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have the following: ·Experience with ERP systems, SAP highly desirable. ·Experience working for a US led multi-national company. ·Working within a manufacturing organisation. ·Studying towards an accountancy qualification ·German language skills (advantageous) This is a great opportunity to join an organisation which rewards you for hard work and determination.
