Head of Technical Accounting & Control

Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering A FTSE listed insurance organisation with offices globally who are seeking to add a Qualified ACA/ACCA Head of Financial & Technical Accounting. This will be officially based from their Sussex office but remote and fully flex working is offered.



Your duties will include but not be limited too:



* Overseeing both a UK and offshore team you will oversee all aspects of the both the financial accounting & control (IFRS/SII)
* Forming part of the Senior management team you will look to develop the statutory and regulatory reporting team
* You will take ownership of the statutory accounting fillings and provide technical assurance to the external financial reporting deliveries
* Review and discuss financial results with the CFO while providing technical advice on all matters linked to accounting standards and internal accounting policies

You will have the following skill set

* ACA/ACCA Qualified within a Top 10 Practice
* Have significant experience and exposure to the insurance sector
* Strong technical and financial accounting experience
* Extensive knowledge and exposure to reporting under IFRS & Solvency II regulations
* Experienced in managing large teams
* Strong communication skills
