Risk and Compliance Assistant


We are currently recruiting a Risk & Compliance Assistant for a well established Insurance provider to assist the Risk & Compliance Manager with the development and implementation of an effective Enterprise Risk Management framework and carry out general compliance tasks and internal control reviews.

You will be responsible for overseeing the risk management framework and ensure risk registers are maintained, reviewed and evaluated by their Risk Owners and support the embedding and monitoring of Conduct Risk across the business. Additionally you shall support the development and conduct of the compliance monitoring program and assist with the regulatory oversight of Delegated Authorities. You shall be given the opportunity to undertake staff training to raise awareness and understanding of risks and other areas relevant to compliance and risk management.

To be considered for this opportunity you will have a good understanding of the UK insurance regulatory framework including Solvency II and have previous experience of performing internal control reviews. You will also be working towards a CII or compliance or risk management qualification or be willing to study towards a professional qualification. Ideal candidates will also have experience in risk reporting.
