Financial Services Risk Manager - Crawley - up to £90,000 plus benefits

The purpose of this role is to lead the 2nd line risk management capability, to envision a future state for risk management within the business and to be able to advocate, promote and deliver that vision with the support of the CRO.
The role is a key support role to the Chief Risk Officer in providing key risk insights, oversight, analysis and reporting of risks identified within the wider business.
The role is expected to undertake external intelligence gathering on emerging themes, gain advocacy for proposed responses and be able to turn this into action plans for delivery
The role is also expected to act as custodian of the Risk Framework - to ensure its design, usage and calibration remain appropriate for the business as it evolves, and that the framework has wide stakeholder support.
The role is responsible for setting policy, designing processes, and providing training to the wider business.
The role leads, coaches, and mentors a team to deliver on all of the key priorities for the Risk Function.

Can act quickly, communicating calmly, effectively and with authority
A related post graduate level risk qualification (eg Institute of Risk Management, PRMIA, IFoA)
Extensive experience of risk management within financial services
