HR Operations Manager


This Sussex-based organisation with a forward-thinking and progressive culture is seeking an HR Operations Manager to run a multi site HR function of 7 FTE.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a commercially focused, driven HR expert to develop and grow an effective and credible HR function. To be successful in this role you will have broad generalist HR experience gained within a commercial environment with solid knowledge of employment law and complex HR issues including redundancy, disciplinary and performance/change management. In addition, you will have worked in a multi-site organisation and be comfortable challenging upwards. When needed you'll be able to provide creative solutions whilst maintaining good HR practice, ensuring you are a trusted expert.

You will be responsible for advising and supporting managers on all employee relations issues in line with the organisations policies and procedures. Further to this you will lead on ad hoc projects which could involve restructuring and change management. You will be expected to work autonomously reporting into the HR Director and the role has responsibility for employees over a number of sites so willingness to travel is essential (mainly in the UK, but occasionally overseas).

Ideally CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience), you will be an HR professional with sound employment law knowledge and a good understanding of recruitment, change management. Demonstrable HR team management is essential, as is the flexibility to travel on a regular basis in the UK. HR experience or knowledge gained in Spain & France would be advantageous.
