A large privately owned business based near East Grinstead has an immediate requirement for a experienced Programme Manager to project manage the implementation of a cloud based forecasting and reporting platform
You will be required to support the initial phases of this project and end to end delivery of sub projects. Prior experience on project managing of a similar forecasting/reporting solution is essential.
·Support Group Financial Controller (as Project Sponsor) in planning, managing, and reporting on progress against project milestones and deliverables ·Organise and direct regular project team meetings encompassing internal resources and external implementation consultant(s) ·Work with Group FC and other stakeholders to document project roadmap and define individual sub-projects and workstreams ·Ensure that resources are allocated to defined tasks and that project deliverables are completed on time ·Identify risks to project deliverables and timescales and proactively propose and implement mitigating actions ·Plan, document and oversee execution of testing programme ·Plan, document and oversee execution of cutover/go-live ·Lead definition of training needs analysis for users
Key skill required
·Prior experience in project management of similar forecasting/reporting solutions (such as Hyperion, SAP BPC, TM1, Anaplan, Tagetik etc.) ·Good understanding of 'Agile' project management principles ·Experience in working closely with and coordinating work of colleagues from IT, Finance and other part of the business ·Demonstrable track record in managing deliverables against set timelines and within set budgets ·Hands-on coding/configuration experience is not a pre-requisite for this role, but strong excel and system skills are likely to be a distinct advantage
