A rapidly growing finance function based in Guildford, has an immediate temporary requirement for a Finance Manager to lead a small transactional team on a day to day basis
Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working in a newly created role you will manage and lead a team of two Finance Assistants who look after the transactional ledgers. This is a hands on role where you will ensure that the correct processes are adhered to and that the teams duties are carried out efficiently. You will have extensive prior knowledge of leading a small team, along with exposure to cash handling and VAT. You will take full responsibility for developing and integrating new accounting procedures across the team.
The successful candidate will have recent team management experience in a similar role which must include a similar sized transactional function. Candidate will ideally hold a recognised accounting qualification, though non qualified candidates who can demonstrate the relevant transactional team management skills will also be considered. You must be immediately available.
