If you have proven experience of managing a team of Claims Assessors working within the Group or Individual Risk insurance industry (covering Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness schemes) and you're now looking for a new challenge to develop your career; to be gained whilst working for an engaging, FTSE 100 firm in their South Coast offices, then this is the ideal role for you!

The successful applicant to this role will to have worked or be working within a managerial or team leadership role, where you can demonstrate that you have led a team of staff; inc. managing their performance, conducting appraisals and recruitment campaigns, resource planning and coaching new recruits, which you should be able to bring to this role alongside an in depth knowledge of the Group Risk market (covering Income Protection, Life and Critical Insurance policies). In addition to this, you should be able to develop a competitive, technical grasp of the products that are offered by the client within the market, and a good understanding of various medical conditions would also be advantageous. FPC qualification is preferred, or you should at least be prepared to study for the qualification, and candidates will need to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Whilst the role is based in East Sussex, the firm can offer you flexible working arrangements (i.e. working from home a couple of days a week), but you will be expected to be based in their Surrey office for up to 2 months once you've started the role to complete your training!
