As a Compliance Monitoring Manager you will be responsible for supporting all components of each review as defined by the Senior Monitoring Manager. You will execute and occasionally lead on risk based compliance monitoring reviews with a view to providing independent assurance to the Audit Committee and local management regarding the operation and effectiveness of regulatory controls

Further key points of the role will include:

* Understand in full the requirements of each review and execute in a timely and effective manner.
* Take both direction on complex reviews and lead on lighter touch reviews with minimal oversight being required.
* Worked effectively with the local business lines and ensure constructive feedback and effective improvements are implemented.
* Prepare monitoring reports to agreed standards
* Ensure that critical findings are reported immediately as appropriate
* Engage with and achieve buy-in and agreement from the accountable executive to the report findings and agreed remedial actions
* Present findings in the appropriate manner to ensure buy in from all stakeholders and effective implementation of remedial actions.
* Provide assistance and mentoring for any junior members od the team / share expertise and collaborate with peers.
* Effective formal reporting to management on progress versus plan.

You will be an established compliance professional with a particular focus on monitoring with an ability to demonstrate the practical application of your acquired expertise. You should be adept in conducting reviews including business specific reviews as well as wider thematic reviews across multiple business lines within a multidisciplinary insurance and risk business. Those with experience pertinent to the Lloyds market , speciality risk, the SME sector or with an actual Insurance provider with specific monitoring / internal audit skills will be of great interest. You must have a track record of managing monitoring focussed projects and possess excellent communication skills with sound stakeholder management.
