A Compliance Consultancy firm is currently looking to recruit a senior hire to focus on Technical Compliance, reporting into the CEO. The role will focus mainly on regulatory developments and change - you will take ownership of technical communications and training internally, as well as assisting with external marketing material and bulletins for clients. You will assess the impact of such changes on the firms current and target client base and project manage the other consultants implementation of such changes for clients.
This is not a business development role, but you will be required to support the consultants with client pitches from a technical perspective and to give external presentations and speeches representing the firm at seminars etc. so excellent communication skills and confidence in public speaking is essential.
Although not predominantly a fee-earning position, you will also ideally manage a small portfolio of clients.
You will have gained solid experience (ideally at least 5 years) within an investments environment focusing on regulatory developments, horizon scanning, advice and regulatory change projects. You will be able to demonstrate experience of internal and external communications, internal training and public speaking/presentations.
Ideal candidates with have a broad exposure to a variety of different financial services companies and products and have experience working within a Consultancy.
