Fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for this fast-paced, innovative household brand based in Central London. The Procurement Sourcing Analyst has a central role supporting Procurement, business stakeholders and project teams, bringing knowledge and analysis skills, to aid business as usual and projects. This role also supports and leads Procurement Projects on a as required basis in order to support the Procurement Team, i.e. RFI, RFP's, benchmarking.
You will have a good working knowledge of Procurement and will have built relationships with relevant business stakeholders and work collaboratively and flexibly within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
This role will help support the function to roll out best practices identified across the different Categories and to monitor the adherence to the agreed methodologies, processes and tools.
In addition, the role holder supports the Procurement Managers to perform analyses required to build the full financial picture for RFP and other sourcing projects:
Build and maintain tracking tools to monitor adherence to agreed processes and agree with Procurement and Category Managers gap analysis and improvement plans
Build analysis to compare bidders' responses to RFP both for pricing and other service elements.
Run and maintains trackers to monitor team KPIs (e.g. Saving, Suppliers Consolidation figures)
Support the preparation of standard data set, vendor's information and analyses, ad hoc reports for the regular reviews the Procurement team holds with Business Stakeholders (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews) Produce and present all monthly and ad hoc procurement reports including producing reports for senior management and board level review.
● Provides strong business analysis, throughout the project lifecycle, including the following: ● Business value analysis- ○ Opportunity identification including market and competitor analysis and feasibility studies; ○ Value analysis and mapping; ○ Defining benefit drivers and key performance indicators; ○ Contributing to project definition, shaping and initiation; ○ Cost benefit analysis and business case development. ● Solution specification analysis-
Knowledge and Experience:
● Advanced Excel, P2P system (Oracle) ● Good ability to build relationships with peer and senior level business stakeholders ● Understands the end to end project lifecycle ● Capable in systematic exploration and evaluation of problems ● Strong in planning an efficient course of action for self ● Able to prioritise and plans activities for self ● Sound understanding of the importance of business value analysis in the role ● Awareness of the concept of Key Performance Indicators ● Understands the core concepts of cost versus benefit ● Able to elicit business requirements for a simple project ● Able to develop process maps. ● Understands the primary change management considerations for project implementation
