I am partnering an International organisation going through significant change to attract a Procurement Category Specialist to their Woking based HQ.
Working with a newly created team you will play a crucial role in driving cost savings through the Global regions. This will include:
* Re-engineer spend, reduce cost and improve procurement practices * Analyse spend data and patterns, bringing together large volumes of information to inform cost effective decision making. * Business Partner stakeholders across the Global locations to identify and drive areas for procurement strengthening and development. * Facilitate the exchange of cost saving initiatives across the globe and embed into new frameworks and networks. * Scope, initiate and achieve set cost savings targets in 1 or 2 key categories of spend across a global footprint (including FM, Property, Marketing and HR) * Run tender processes from identifying organisational needs with key stakeholders through to award of contract; analysing quotations and data received and making recommendations in a competitive bidding process with user friendly, easy to understand and dashboard style reporting. * Establishing and negotiating contract terms and conditions. * Maintain supplier relationships and manage supplier performance on key contracts. * Drive best value for money practices in procurement, and track and report against Procurement savings targets.
