This small but growing Financial Services provider is seeking a full or part time Learning and Development Consultant to be primarily responsible for the provision of appropriate responses to meet the company's learning and development needs. The development solutions provided will be aligned with business objectives, L&D Strategy and with appropriate L&D methodology and comply with all relevant legislative and regulatory guidelines
Deliver a range of soft skills training Implement and deliver effective technical and on the job training to enable staff and the business to achieve objectives for specified areas Undertake training needs analysis as required and work with business to define and deliver solutions Establish and maintain record keeping and reporting methodologies to ensure accurate training records are kept Undertake appropriate and effective evaluation of learning and development activities Manage relationships with external providers, such as health & safety training provider, accreditation bodies Support and facilitate the Talent Management and Succession planning process and subsequent development plans including career planning initiatives Promote and educate the business on a blended approach to learning, ensuring the uptake of formal and informal development solutions Create and develop a mentoring program to support our talent management programmes Own and develop the corporate induction, including facilitation of all presenters and maintenance of content Able to take the initiative to develop a creative theme or idea into a full measurable development programme that demonstrates ROI
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic Training professional with experience gained in all four areas of the Learning and Development cycle. A self-starter is required to build a learning and development function from the ground up. There is potential to offer this role on a part time basis.
This role offers a competitive total reward package including lucrative pension scheme, x 10 death in service, strong corporate bonus and basic salary pf £35k. This will be a highly visible role to the Senior Management team.
