Are client based in the redhill area are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrators to assist with the payroll function. The successful candidate will report to the Payroll Manager and must have worked within a similar position previously. They are ideally looking for an immediate start to ensure a hand over is given.
Running reports and checking timesheets for coding errors To monitor and run weekly payroll process on the in house system Process payroll changes on Payroll system and ensure that all changes made to the payroll system have been properly authorised in accordance with current SOX procedures Creating and submitting RTI reports to HMRC fortnightly and monthly within deadlines Production, sorting and distribution of pay slips to employees Process and submit four weekly pension contributions Submission of weekly expenses payment via BACS Update all payroll spreadsheets regarding Medicash, Car Allowance, Ride2Work, Pension etc. Deal with internal and external payroll queries Produce P60 and year end reports. End of Year Reporting To maintain statutory records and ensure correct payment of SSP, SMP and SPP To assist in the production and checking of statutory payroll related annual returns To maintain sickness records for all permanent staff To process bi-weekly and monthly BACS payments on a timely basis To provide 'ad-hoc' management information/statistics as required Assisting with other related matters as directed by the Payroll and Benefits Manager
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a payroll position with following qualities and experience * Ability to multi task * Well organised and thorough * Ability to learn quickly *Ability to work to a strict weekly timetable * Understand confidentiality *Good team player *Good attention to detail and a proactive approach.
