HR Business Partner - 12 Months - £47,000 - 20% Bonus


I am seeking an HR Business Partner to start as soon as possible with a leading utilities organisation in Surrey operating within the fast paced UKM division. Ths role balances a range of short-and long term priorities, project and BAU work, requiring commercial awareness and adaptability. The successful candidate will need to maintain strong relationships with Functional Directors / senior managers in order to engender engagement on HR issues and to integrate themselves into the business units they partner with.

You will also build trusting relationships with employees and managers, and potential employees and will build and maintain relationships with external providers (e.g. recruitment agencies, legal advisors, benefit providers) to ensure quality and value in the services provided.
Intra company relationships will also be fostered with other UK and European based entities, and Head Office
It is essential you can design and then implement policy and have extremely strong Excel skills.

You will have proven generalist HR business partnering experience, including recruitment, employee relations, reward and development, policy development and managing HR projects and change.
Commercial awareness and able to demonstrate the ability to make risk-aware, sound, commercial decisions
Able to demonstrate big-picture thinking and to problem-solve in an innovative, analytical and decisive manner
Exposure to Hay job evaluation method, and previous experience of utilising psychometric testing preferred
Up to date knowledge of UK Employment legislation

Type: 12 Month FTC
Salary: £47,000 - This will include an end of contract bonus of up to 20% of salary based on yearly 1:1s and appraisals.
