JOB DETAILS

A Surrey based Charity are currently looking to attract a Procurement & Purchasing Officer.

Working as part of a small team your responsibilities will include:

* Processing purchasing documents, responding to related inquiries and maintaining supplier/source information and inventories.
* Represent the procurement function to include Ordering and Optimising Value for Money.
* Assess all emailed purchase requisitions and purchase orders on a regular basis. ·
* Process order forms and requisitions in line with charity policy.
* Develop procurement processes to provide optimal levels of customer service and prepare all reports to identify cost cutting initiatives. ·
* Manage all communication for purchase orders with suppliers.
* Resolve all purchase issues and coordinate with the Accounts Assistant for purchasing, in order to process all invoices on a timely basis.
* Ensure all procurement processes, policies and information is kept up to date. ·
* Administer all supplier requests, performing cost comparisons on all purchase proposals and ensuring compliance to guidelines.

This role would suit a immediately available procurement or purchasing assistant or administrator with excellent organisational skills. You will be a team player and a self starter.
