Great opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to work for a leading brand in their forward thinking Procurement function. The pivotal post will both lead projects within, support and compliment a multi-year procurement transformation programme and become a key stakeholder in the strategic enablement of procurement strategies at a local and regional level.
You will lead the development of, source and provide the required internal data, metrics, business and management information as appropriate, in line with business timescales using both common and new toolsets.
In addition this role will also focus on the identification and proactive sourcing, assessment, management and maintenance of external data sources providing market research and intelligence including but not limited to "horizon scanning "and future proofing.
Working within Procurement Excellence, this role will also be a key support to the Category Management teams by assisting in the researching, structuring and solving complex analytical problems as they arise.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working within a transforming business and/or function, with a forward thinking and proactive approach where you will showcase your knowledge of innovative business systems i.e. ERPs, tools and expert Excel knowledge.
·Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem solving capabilities ·Experience in developing and producing reports for internal and external use ·Very strong interpersonal and influencing skills; it will be essential to build relationships, trust and to become respected by the Procurement team ·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ·Strong conceptual thinker with practical implementation skills; must be able to demonstrate the ability to link analysis to positive commercial outcomes ·Able to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions ·Numerate; familiar with cost accounting principles and basic business financials and analytical methods ·Ability to handle and complete multiple projects and prioritise effectively, doing so with minimal supervision ·Drive and determination to succeed, excellent planning skills and delivery to a high standard
