We are currently partnering a Global Insurance Organisation with the appointment of a Technical Accounting Manager
You will lead the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards including IFRSs 16 and 17 and understand and propose solutions to issues arising from the impacts of the standards and manage the embedding of the changes across various business units, you will also lead the training of finance teams on the principal changes to their reporting as a result of new IFRS standards. You will also be required to carry out technical reviews of statutory accounts
Candidates will be qualified ACA/ACCA with extensive relevant technical accounting experience and expertise preferably gained within the insurance practice of a Big 4 audit firm and in a multinational insurance organisation. Strong IFRS and Solvency II knowledge is also key.
