A Procurement Manager with proven IT category experience is required for a Gatwick based organisation who are going through substantial growth.
Working alongside the Category Manager in the delivery of agreed objectives in line with the overall procurement strategy your role will include:
* Procurement strategy support and guidance to the delivery teams ensuring adherence to procurement, governance and levels of authority procedures. * Managing high and low volume spend across the IT portfolio (software, services, telecoms). * Act as Business Partner to senior IT team providing commercial advice and guidance * Supporting the Category Manager on the planning and prioritisation activities to ensure that the most important opportunities in terms of business needs, cost savings and risk mitigation are delivered and that the right priorities are selected. * Advise the business on procurement policies, processes and best practice, providing support as required. * Leading innovative IT projects from a procurement perspective up to £5M ensuring that they are delivered on time and to budget with appropriate risk management.
This role will suit an IT Buyer looking to step up. You may be a procurement professional with general indirect experience with a leaning towards IT and possess an understanding of IT stakeholders and their business goals.
