We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Employee Benefits Consultant to deliver high-quality consultancy services to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. This role combines relationship management, strategic consultancy, and business development, offering the opportunity to contribute to both client success and company growth.
The position may require UK-wide travel, occasional work outside standard business hours to support international clients, and potential overseas travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert consultancy and ongoing support across the full range of employee benefits services
- Manage end-to-end client renewals across all product lines, with support from the wider team
- Identify and develop cross-selling opportunities to generate additional revenue
- Maintain exceptional standards of client service and relationship management
- Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities
- Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to promote a “stronger together” culture, sharing best practice and driving innovation across Credit, Insurance, Risk Management, and Employee Benefits
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline to achieve individual new business targets
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute local marketing and events strategies
- Develop and nurture a personal network of introducers and professional contacts
Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in the employee benefits sector within a client-facing consultancy role
- Proven track record in business development within a similar environment (e.g. multinational or boutique consultancy)
- In-depth knowledge of employee benefits, including:
- Healthcare and risk benefits, and/ or DC Pensions
- Wellbeing and voluntary benefits
- Benefits platforms
- Taxation and tax treatment of benefits
- Experience designing and enhancing client benefit strategies, including communications and benchmarking
- Strong experience building and managing internal and external introducer relationships
- Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
