We are seeking an experienced and motivated Employee Benefits Team Leader to join our growing Employee Benefits team based in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of workplace pensions and employee benefits, combined with proven leadership skills.

You will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers, overseeing scheme administration, maintaining strong employer relationships, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of Employee Benefits Account Managers
  • Allocate workloads and ensure service levels are consistently met
  • Provide guidance on complex queries and escalated issues
  • Support performance management, training, and continuous development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, particularly larger or high-value schemes
  • Attend client meetings to review services, resolve queries, and identify opportunities to enhance benefit offerings
  • Provide ongoing advice and support on workplace benefits
  • Oversee administration of workplace pension and employee benefit schemes
  • Handle and resolve complex or escalated queries and complaints
  • Liaise with providers and internal teams to ensure timely resolutions
  • Ensure schemes remain compliant with all regulatory requirements, including those set by The Pensions Regulator
  • Oversee auto-enrolment and re-enrolment processes

Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of workplace pensions and employee benefits administration
  • Previous experience managing or supervising a team
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, including auto-enrolment and re-enrolment
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
