A leading UK pensions organisation is seeking a Senior Client Relations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pensions professional with strong client relationship and stakeholder management expertise to play a key role in supporting the continued growth and development of its Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) proposition.

The Role

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead the development and delivery of a high-quality employer management strategy focused on CDC pension arrangements. The successful candidate will support existing and prospective employers, helping them explore and implement future pension solutions while maintaining excellent long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategic discussions with employers exploring CDC pension solutions
  • Managing and developing relationships with sponsoring employers and advisers
  • Supporting business development and retention initiatives
  • Delivering presentations, reports, and client communications
  • Managing key client relationships following implementation
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on CDC pension arrangements and current market developments
  • Supporting and mentoring client relationship colleagues on CDC matters
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to improve service delivery and client experience
  • Identifying opportunities for growth, retention, and additional revenue stream

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant Pensions client relationship management experience
  • Strong understanding of Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) pension arrangements
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Pensions legislation and governance
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and strategic projects
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • A highly professional and client-focused approach
