Procurement Manager

Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Procurement Manager on a permanent basis.

This is a broad and varied role with responsibility for leading procurement activities, supplier management, contract governance and cost optimisation across the business. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, you’ll drive best practice procurement while ensuring compliance, value creation and effective supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle process.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and performance reviews.
• Drive cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across third-party spend.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Support risk management, due diligence, and audit activities.
• Produce procurement reporting and KPI analysis.
• Manage and develop a small support team.

About You

• Proven procurement experience, ideally 5+ years.
• Strong supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiation skills.
• Recent experience of FCA requirements is essential.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of procurement systems, governance and risk management.
• CIPS qualification desirable.
