We are currently recruiting for a number of remote based Pension Administrator roles for candidates with experience of administering Defined Benefit Pension schemes within the UK.

As a Pension administrator you will be involved in the following duties

    • Supporting a team in operational service delivery in accordance with client contracts, legislation, policy conditions, business rules and procedures, and within the legislative / regulatory framework.
    • Understanding client requirements and making every effort to ensure key performance indicators and quality standards are met.
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of processes, procedures, and products.
    • Handling any complex queries that come through via telephone.
    • Understanding, building, maintaining, and enhancing stakeholder and/or client relationships.
    • Supporting the Pensions Team Manager in preparing for meetings and providing business MI.

What you will need:

    • Proven pension administration experience with strong knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes, including hands‑on exposure across a broad range of casework.
    • Comprehensive casework experience covering bereavement (death) cases, general day‑to‑day administration, transfers (both in and out of schemes), retirement processing, and financial settlement work.
    • Experience using pensions technical knowledge to coach, train and mentor colleagues, supporting capability and quality across the team.
    • Substantial experience performing manual pension calculations, with confidence handling complex or non‑standard cases.
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, alongside excellent numeracy and data‑inputting skills.
    • Comfortable using multiple IT systems, including Word, Outlook and Teams, with confidence handling telephone‑based queries.
    • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and quality management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate clearly across a range of channels.
    • A collaborative team‑focused approach, with the ability to support, guide and develop other team members.
