Location: Hybrid from the Midlands

About the Role

We are currently working on a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Employee Benefits professional to join a growing firm within a role where you will be given the autonomy to work with a portfolio of clients and grow a pipeline of new business within the Midlands. This role would suit a a highly motivated and commercially focused Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join this growing EB team and take on a responsible role working closely with the Director and be involved with the strategic direction of the proposition offered out to clients .

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced benefits professional who combines exceptional technical knowledge with a proven track record of winning and developing new business.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you will provide strategic employee benefits advice while playing a key role in driving revenue growth through client acquisition, networking, and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering high-quality employee benefits consulting services.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the employee benefits market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including HR Directors, Finance Directors, and business owners.
• Provide strategic advice on:
• Group Risk
• Private Medical Insurance
• Health & Wellbeing Solutions
• Employee Assistance Programmes
• Flexible Benefits
• Financial Wellbeing and Pension-related services
• Lead and deliver client reviews, renewal negotiations, market exercises, and presentations.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and insurer partners to design and implement tailored benefits strategies.
• Keep abreast of market developments, legislation, and emerging trends within the employee benefits sector.
• Contribute to marketing, networking, and business development initiatives to enhance the firm’s market presence.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious and client-focused professional with:

Experience

• Significant experience within employee benefits consulting.
• Strong technical knowledge across Group Risk, PMI, and wider employee benefits products.
• Demonstrable success in generating and converting new business opportunities.
• Experience managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
