Interim Management Accountant

Alexander Lloyd are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant on behalf of our industry leading client. This role will initially be on an interim basis for 3-6 months, however could well be extended.

This is a hands-on role supporting month-end processes, management reporting and financial control. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and delivering accurate financial information to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Our client are working on a hybrid basis and there is free parking on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare full monthly management accounts.
• Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate and explain financial variances.
• Support the month-end close process.
• Prepare financial analysis and commentary.
• Utilise Excel to analyse and present financial data.
• Identify discrepancies and support process improvements.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess:

• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant.
• Strong management accounts and month-end reporting experience.
• Excellent balance sheet reconciliation skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial analysis and reporting.
