Pensions Governance Consultant

We are working with a leading Pensions organisation looking to appoint a Pensions Governance Consultant to join a growing team providing outsourced Pensions management, governance and trustee secretariat services to a varied portfolio of occupational Pension schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pensions professional who enjoys working closely with trustees and in-house pension teams.

The role

You will support a range of clients with day-to-day pensions management and governance, including:

• Providing outsourced pensions management support to trustee boards and in-house pension functions
• Supporting clients with pension scheme governance and regulatory best practice
• Attending trustee and client meetings and providing end-to-end secretariat support
• Preparing agendas, meeting packs, minutes and action logs
• Supporting trustees with death discretionary cases, transfer referrals and complaints
• Delivering ongoing and ad-hoc pensions projects and workstreams
• Managing priorities across multiple client relationships
• Working within agreed service levels, budgets and commercial requirements

About you

You will ideally bring:

• Experience working with DB, DC or hybrid occupational pension schemes
• Strong pensions technical knowledge
• Experience within pensions governance, trustee secretariat or pensions management
• A background within pensions consultancy and/or an in-house pensions environment
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
• The ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities
• A commercial mindset and commitment to delivering a high-quality client service
