Interim Management Accountant

Temp to Perm | Remote | £180-£200 per day, DOE

I’m currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing international business, offering a remote working arrangement. This is a great opportunity for someone with a professional services background, particularly those who have worked in time-based billing environments, multi-entity finance functions, and international operations.

The role will suit a hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, taking ownership of the numbers, and improving financial processes within a fast-paced, evolving business.

The role will involve:

• Maintaining the general ledger and supporting an accurate month-end close
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet and bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and resolving historic differences
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.
• Managing multi-entity and intercompany accounting across different jurisdictions
• Working with multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange revaluations
• Reviewing financial records, strengthening controls, and identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Supporting the wider finance team with accurate and timely financial information

What they’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar hands-on finance role
• Experience within professional services or a business operating a time-based billing model
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting, ideally across international operations
• Strong technical accounting skills, particularly around reconciliations, month-end and balance sheet control
• Experience with multi-currency transactions, FX and intercompany accounting
• A proactive, analytical, and self-sufficient approach, with the confidence to investigate issues and take ownership
• Previous experience of working remotely
