What will you do to help me?

Following a detailed interview, you can then select which of the suitable vacancies currently available that you would like to be submitted for. In addition to current vacancies, we have a strong relationship and an in-depth understanding of the long term requirements of the leading local SME's and Blue chip employers (see client testimonials for a sample), meaning that we are able to work proactively on your behalf to create opportunities, rather than just waiting for a suitable job to be registered with us. You will also have the option to select a target list of employers (agreed with yourself) whom we will approach on your behalf.

Your CV will be prepared for you and we will provide you with market information, salary guides and interview technique coaching. When you are offered a new role, we will be there to assist you with the salary negotiation process at offer stage and counsel you on handing in your notice.

Is there anything I can do to help you?

Ideally a full detailed CV and the name of two referees.

Do I need a CV?

A CV is not compulsory but does speed up the process, and you will need the following accurate information regardless:

  • Professional Qualifications and Academic Qualifications
  • Computer systems - knowledge and/or experience

As a candidate registering, do I always a have to meet a Consultant?

Consultants do endeavour to meet all candidates, not just to 'fill in forms' but for a full appraisal of your needs and desires for your career and an in-depth competency based evaluation of your past experience and key skills. This meeting will last between 45 and 60 minutes and is essential as it will give us a complete understanding of how you would like us to present you. In addition, you will gain valuable advice and market information tailored to your individual background.

What hours do you operate?

Consultants operate a flexible attitude, although our official hours of operation are 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Consultants are available for meetings and contact outside of these hours by agreement.

Do you offer interview coaching?

We offer free of charge interview coaching sessions to all candidates attending an interview, lasting a minimum of one hour. This invaluable service is tailored specifically to the actual role and focuses on interview style, questioning and body language.
