  The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Providing expert pensions technical support to the Technical Policy and Services team and other business areas.
  • Ensuring compliance with the schemes’ rules, pensions legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the schemes’ rules and the broader pensions landscape, assessing the impact of changes on administration processes and members’ benefits.
  • Contributing to the development of administrative policy and practices.

  We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Extensive knowledge of the UK pensions regime, general pension administration processes, scheme rules, and pensions taxation legislation.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to document work clearly.
  • Specific knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pensions is essential, while knowledge of Defined Contribution (DC) arrangements is beneficial.

  This role will require some office attendance as it does involve people management Fortnightly or Monthly attendance may be acceptable depending on the level of candidate.

  Defined Benefit Pensions experience is a MUST have.

  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the team on a 1:1 basis (Team size roughly 5 once fully staffed, you will be involved in the hiring)
  • Manage Continuous Process Improvement
  • Dealing with complex technical queries
  • Projects can include GMP rectifications, Data cleanse, Buy-ins/Buy-outs, De-risking & Manual calculations

  Technical Delivery Manager

• Alexander Lloyd are partnered once again with a well established Pensions Administration Service in the North East in search for a Pensions Client Relationship Manager.

  Ideally the candidate will have experience across both DB & DC schemes, however either are being considered.

  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing & Managing relationships with a portfolio of clients
  • Attending client meetings
  • Understand each client’s corporate strategy and future developments
  • Identify opportunities to sell services to meet individually agreed growth/revenue targets relevant to the client portfolio
  • Liaising with Project Managers to ensure project costs are billed on time, correctly and fully.
