Our client needs someone who is comfortable and has strong experience in the BAU side of financial control and driving month end close, engaging with stakeholders across all departments to ensure accurate data across the GL & Balance sheets. You will collaborate with various teams across the finance and project teams. This is a senior finance role that will be high profile in the business including managing multiple stakeholder relationships and you will sit as part of the Financial Management Team and deputise for your Manager in their absence.
You will be the engine room of the finance function, driving the month end close. Ensuring robust data is produced by relevant finance functions. Acting as the custodian of the GL.
This work will centre around the quality of data, how that impacts the GL, what changes impact the GL, identifying new financial controls and embedding them into the business, establishing Quality Assurance controls, identifying commercial drivers that impact the GL, working closely with the I.T team to create new dashboards and reporting, to automate existing manual processes.
This is a team that will grow which offers lots of development opportunities.
