Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering with a growing Private Healthcare organisation based in Central London on the hire for a ACA, ACCA or CIMA finalist or qualified Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
This is a critical hire for a fast-paced company experiencing rapid growth and would suit someone who is keen to take the next step in their career.
The role will report to the CFO, taking ownership for the day-to-day running of the transactional finance team of 4.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Preparing the monthly management accounts, and the monthly management pack.
Provide monthly analysis to support month end numbers.
Full ownership of operational finance team (AP, AR & payroll), this will included approving revenue, payments and weekly payroll.
Managing the preparation of annual accounts and the supporting year end working papers for audit.
Cashflow reporting and debtor management.
Preparation of weekly activity reports sent to management.
Drive process improvement through the finance team to mitigate & manage risk.
Assist the CFO in preparation of the monthly board pack.
Support the CFO with the annual operating plan.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Qualifications and Experience required:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA finalist/fully qualified
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence
An organised, proactive and deadline focused approach
A sharp focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Experience in owning the month end management accounts production
Strong proficiency in Excel is essential

The role will be responsible for all aspects of transactional processing and bookkeeping activities such as;
preparation of month end management accounts
VAT and tax reporting
oversee processing of sales and purchase invoices in Xero
bank transactions
general ledger reconciliations
preparation of annual and interim statutory accounts
dealing with auditors and general business management as determined by the CFO and Head of Financial Control & Tax
You will be / Have;
AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ CIMA
Degree/or equivalent – desirable
Part qualified accountancy qualification – essential
Ability to work to tight deadlines – essential.
Proficient in MS office, specifically Excel
Experience in Xero or similar accounting system preferable
Previous use of SharePoint or similar system preferable but not essential
Strong attention to accuracy & detail

Duties will include;
Process all periodic and adhoc invoices for contracts, rebilling other activities undertaken by the business, on the invoicing system (CSB) per the required timescales
Liaise with colleagues in the business to establish correct invoice data and required supporting information
Assist with updating customer data including contact and address information on CSB and SUN
Provide debt analysis (spreadsheet and/or reports), as required
