  As a Pension Administrator you will play a key role in administering all aspects of the LGPS. Your responsibilities will include calculating various benefits, managing transfers, redundancy payments, deferred and retirement benefits, and ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance in all processes.

  Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in administering final salary pension schemes, including benefit calculations.
  • IDEALLY a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and a good working knowledge of the LGPS regulations.
