• About the company:

  Alexander Lloyd is working in partnership with a growing UK Pensions Consultancy firm, who are expanding and looking to recruit for a Pensions Calculations Analyst to their growing GMPe team. You’ll be part of dynamic Actuarial & Consulting team, advising a diverse range of clients across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors.

  About the roles:

  As a Pensions Calculations Analyst, you will be responsible for;

  • Support the delivering actuarial and pension calculations for a wide range of projects
  • Conduct data analysis and identify key requirements
  • Extract data from administration systems, transform, and load data into modelling tools
  • Analyse data from various sources
  • Configure systems and tools for calculations
  • Participate in client meetings and provide project updates
  • Test results and outputs on pension and actuarial calculation and data projects
  • Define testing requirements, drafting test plans, coverage, Scripts and expected results.

  Experience required:

  • 4- 5 years’ experience working with Defined Benefit schemes, specifically in the projects arena, including working on complex pension calculations and / or data analysis including complex data manipulation, including GMPe projects.
  • Strong Excel knowledge / experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous or current client facing experience, be able to identify client needs and provide consultancy expertise.
