    Undertake sampling of frontline quality monitoring process ensuring consistency and collaboration between sampling and checking within the operational teams is achieved. Providing feedback to colleagues, ensuring this is delivered constructively.
    Conduct transactional controls testing including reviewing the Customer Service controls via regular and ad hoc testing.

    This interesting role would suit a hard-working, technically sound individual, with a commercial and rigorous approach. The successful candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller in a small and highly productive finance team.

    Duties will Include;

    Nominal ledger maintenance and ownership for several group entities (UK and overseas)
    Month-end close activities including journal posting, bank reconciliations, forex revaluations, fixed assets, inter-company billings etc.
    Assist with preparation of internal and parent company consolidated monthly management accounts and associated reports to strict deadlines (listed parent company)
    Variance analysis and ability to communicate results to non-financial staff
    VAT compliance (including overseas)
    Ensure accurate coding of sales and purchase ledger invoices

    You will be/have;

    Relevant accountancy qualification

    Preferably some experience working within an Accountancy Practice
    Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel, with a good working knowledge of the other programmes

    Duties will include;

    Process weekly domestic and foreign settlement runs for suppliers, employees and partners.
    Perform specific quality checks to avoid the risk of duplicate or incorrect payments being released.
    Process ad hoc/urgent payments through different online banking platforms within agreed timelines.
    Maintain central listing of direct debits and standing orders with supporting documentation, ensuring accurate recording on the system.

    You will be / have;

    Good in Outlook, Excel and Word.
    Previous experience in Accounts Payable, reconciliation environment and foreign payments (desirable).
