We are supporting our long standing client to hire an experienced and Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Controller to be part of this newly formed team within the wider finance function and play a key part in developing it and adding value from day 1!
Our client needs someone who is comfortable and has strong experience in the BAU side of financial control to include month end close, journals etc. BUT also a background and passion for change and transformation because this is where the roles main drivers sit.
You will collaborate with various teams across the finance and project teams to build this role out with your Line Manager to establish the Controller function within this global insurance business.
This is a senior finance role that will be high profile in the business including managing multiple stakeholder relationships and you will sit as part of the Financial Management Team and deputise for your Manager in their absence.
This work will centre around the quality of data, how that impacts the GL, what changes impact the GL, identifying new financial controls and embedding them into the business, establishing Quality Assurance controls, identifying commercial drivers that impact the GL, working closely with the I.T team to create new dashboards and reporting, to automate existing manual processes.
This is a team that will grow which offers lots of development opportunities.

Our global engineering client is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Manager to play a vital role in supporting the People Partners and Business Leadership by being the go-to person for compensation, incentive schemes, and the benefits programme across all UK business lines.
You will have the opportunity to lead market intelligence activities, such as the initiating salary surveys, conducting compensation benchmarking, and analysing data to populate comprehensive job pricing database.
