  Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a leading Financial Services company in their search for a Cash Management Technician to join the Finance Team on a full time, permanent basis.

  A broad role, your duties will include, but not be limited to;

  Key Responsibilities

  • Record all cheques on the appropriate core system, update the safe log and ensure cheques are properly safeguarded until they reach the bank in accordance with CASS 7.
  • Process all outgoing manual payments (CHAPS & Foreign Transfers) to our longstanding customers with accuracy ensuring appropriate sign-off has been obtained. Ensure compliance with the CASS regulations.
  • Provide payment or receipt-related reports and information to customers/LBG within agreed timescales.
  • Prepare and input manual journals where required.

  If you;

  • Strong Communication skills and experience dealing with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and experience with reconciliations
  • Experience working within financial services and to FCA Guidelines
  • Experience working within a payments function

  Salary: Up to £27,000

  Hybrid: 3-4 days per week in the office

  Alexander Lloyd are proud to be partnering with a successful Brighton based business in their search for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their tight knit Finance team on a permanent, full time basis.

  A broad role, your duties will include, but not be limited to;

  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, and year end accounts.
  • Working with the Purchase Ledger Manager to provide a first draft of the overheads numbers in the P&L,
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, including the bank accounts and balance sheet accounts,
  • Analysis of cost centres to ensure correct costings
  • Debtor ledger maintenance including transactions, account set ups and credit control,
  • Updating the fixed asset and capitalising asset according to capex policy,
  • Maintenance of the cash flow forecast for review by the Head of Finance,
  • Aged creditor review on regular interval and reviewing terms with procurement team,
  • Maintaining supplier master report and updating with procurement team.

  Ideally you will;

  • Have demonstrable similar experience in a Finance role
  • Have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Live locally (45 minute commute at most)
  • IT literate MS Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience
