    A broad role, your duties will include, but not be limited to;

    • Processing of supplier invoices, obtaining approvals, setting up payment runs and aged creditor reporting.
    • Sales Ledger duties will include: credit control and aged debtor reporting.
    • The role will also include banking tasks such as: daily bank allocations, cash balance reports for management and monthly reconciliations.
    • Monthly reconciliations of defined balance sheet accounts will be required to keep up with balance sheet obligations

    Ideally, you will;

    • Purchase Ledger experience
    • Ideally AAT qualified or actively studying towards
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong IT skills are essential, to include Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software

    The role will provide management with information as required enabling effective decision-making when managing the business.

    You must have previous experience within a financial services or insurance business. Solvency II knowledge is not essential.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Lead in the production and review of financial accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
    • Manage the month-end process and ensure the accounts are produced timely and accurately
    • Responsible for the calculation of the solvency II balance sheet and annual returns.
    • Preparation of annual budgets for all companies as required
    • Responsible for the preparation of monthly management information

  • Our client are a leading Life and Pension firm specialising in SIPP and SSAS arrangements and they are currently seeking an Account Manager to join their already highly successful team. The role will be to take charge of a portfolio of SSAS pension schemes and manage the client relationship through the whole pension scheme lifecycle from the point the pension scheme is set up through to retirement and drawdown and ultimately the process of dealing with death benefits following the member’s death.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, IFAs and key stakeholders
