• Head of Credit & Collections – Telco

  Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering a highly successful Telco organisation with the key appointment of Head of Credit & Collections.

  This is a newly created role and you will be supporting a new Global Credit & Collections function.

  You will be responsible for designing, delivering and ongoing optimisation of the B to C new customer approval process, minimising fraud and bad debt through in house collections and subsequent outsourced collection activity and sale.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery and ongoing optimisation of the local acquisition credit strategy and subsequent collection strategy.
  • Define and deliver the credit policy for each country.
  • Continually review and assess local scorecard performance (where applicable) to optimise to volume of customers we accept and minimise and subsequent bad debt and fraud.
  • Accountable for the selection and ongoing management with multiple debt collection agencies and the associated customer experience.
  • Responsible for the selection of a debt sale panel and thereafter the sale of debt once the collection cycle is exhausted, maximising the financial return.
  • Attend weekly commercial forum to update on performance with any associated remedial actions.
  • Report to senior stakeholders on the credit and collections performance.

  A Global Credit & Collections background with strong team leadership, we are seeking candidates from the telco industry in particular with B to C experience or D to C, experience you will require in depth understanding of high volume monthly contracts. We would also consider candidates from a retail/consumer background if they can demonstrate high volume monthly contracts experience.

  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of twelve months HR administration experience within a similar fast paced, office environment where you will have successfully managed a varied workload. With your experience in HR, you will be comfortable being the first point of contact for straightforward enquiries, be confident communicating with people at all levels across the organisation and be committed to achieving results of a high quality.

  The HR Assistant is a key member of the HR team and will be responsible for general HR admin and recruitment support including regular updating of the HR system and issuing of contracts and offer letters. The position will also support recruitment, including creating adverts and scheduling of interviews.

  You will have/need:

  • Relevant HR administration experience
  • Experience of working in professional or financial services
  • Ideally Level 3 CIPD accredited
