Overseeing Defined Contribution (DC) member data processes and related employer and member enquiries, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of process changes.
Overseeing Defined Benefit (DB) member data processes and enquiries, working alongside the Senior Operations Assistant to support employers and members.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pensions Administrator to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of occupational pension schemes who enjoys managing client relationships, leading projects, and supporting colleagues in delivering high-quality service.
As a key member of the team, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and play an active role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction across all areas of administration.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Processing all member benefit calculations, including manual calculations
Checking manual calculations and project-related tasks on client schemes
Taking full responsibility for all administration matters within your client portfolio
Managing renewals, including benefit statements, calculations, and preparatory work for trustee reports and accounts
Contributing to scheme projects such as bulk annuity (Buy-in/Buy-out) and GMP Equalisation implementations
Maintaining and monitoring scheme bank accounts
Preparing pension payrolls and pension increase exercises (including dual record GMPe schemes)
Maintaining quality standards in line with ISO and AAF best practices
Producing regular statistics and reports for trustees
Supporting team members to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
Participating in service, systems, and process improvement projects
Developing strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to improve service and profitability
Performing other administration tasks as required by clients or management
Attending client administration meetings (mostly remote)
Liaising with consultants to ensure service standards and SLAs are met
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in occupational pension scheme administration
Strong technical knowledge of DB and/or DC schemes
Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
The ability to work independently while supporting team goals
Strong communication and client relationship management skills
PMI qualifications (or progress toward them) are desirable but not essential
Fully remote working with flexible hours

Are you an experienced Pensions Administrator with a strong background in Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, looking to take the next step in a senior and technically engaging role?
We’re recruiting Senior Pensions Administrators for a leading Third Party Pensions Administrator, with opportunities based in Redhill or Leeds. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility alongside meaningful collaboration with your team.
In this role, you’ll work on more complex DB (and some DC) schemes, act as a technical reference point within the team, and play a key role in supporting and mentoring junior administrators. You’ll have the chance to influence service quality, contribute to process improvement, and deputise for the Team Leader when required.
Managing and responding to member and client queries across DB (and some DC) pension schemes
Completing and reviewing complex pension calculations and non-standard cases
Acting as a senior technical point of reference within the team
Checking, challenging and signing off work completed by junior colleagues
Training, mentoring and supporting less experienced administrators, including regular feedback
Supporting the Team Leader and deputising where required
Assisting with project work and complex cases, including complaints
