• Alexander Lloyd are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pensions Associate to join an in-house Scheme in London on a hybrid working model – 3 Days per week in the office.

  While day-to-day scheme administration is outsourced, this role plays a critical part in supporting the trustees by managing the relationship with the external administrator, responding to member queries, coordinating member communications, and providing accurate information and insight to support trustee decision-making.

  Daily tasks include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact with the outsourced administration provider, ensuring high service standards and timely resolution of issues.
  • Managing complex pension queries and trustee services workflows, including shared mailboxes and correspondence, delivering accurate and timely responses.
  • Supporting regulatory and governance activities, including scheme returns, annual newsletters, trustee meeting papers, and policy reviews.
  • Providing technical input to trustee decision-making, complaints handling, and ad-hoc projects, ensuring compliance with legislation and a positive member experience.

  This role is for you if you have:

  • Proven experience within the pensions industry, including defined benefit schemes and pensions administration, with exposure to trustee services or governance being highly beneficial.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will manage daily purchase ledger operations, reconciliations, and supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
