Are you an experienced Pensions Administrator with a strong background in Defined Benefit (DB) schemes, looking to take the next step in a senior and technically engaging role?
We’re recruiting Senior Pensions Administrators for a leading Third Party Pensions Administrator, with opportunities based in Redhill or Leeds. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility alongside meaningful collaboration with your team.
In this role, you’ll work on more complex DB (and some DC) schemes, act as a technical reference point within the team, and play a key role in supporting and mentoring junior administrators. You’ll have the chance to influence service quality, contribute to process improvement, and deputise for the Team Leader when required.
Managing and responding to member and client queries across DB (and some DC) pension schemes
Completing and reviewing complex pension calculations and non-standard cases
Acting as a senior technical point of reference within the team
Checking, challenging and signing off work completed by junior colleagues
Training, mentoring and supporting less experienced administrators, including regular feedback
Supporting the Team Leader and deputising where required
Assisting with project work and complex cases, including complaints
Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and operational processes
Ensuring service levels, targets and deadlines are consistently met
Proven experience administering DB Pension schemes (essential)
Experience coaching, mentoring or supporting junior team members
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organisational ability
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
