    Reporting into the financial controller you will cover the following duties

    • Provide a full range of management accounting support across the shared services function
    • Balance Sheet recs
    • Payroll accounting – experience would be preferable with familiarisation of payroll terminology
    • Month end close processes
    • Support the Financial Control function in providing information for year-end requests internally and from the Auditors.

    The ideal candidate would be qualified and available for an immediate start, you will require a Management/Financial accounts background.

    Shared services centre exposure or centralised finance would also be advantageous

    A few key details of the role

    • Provide commercial advice and guidance to HR, People Managers and business stakeholders at all levels
    • First point of escalation for ER team on advice, appeals and more complex ER matters
    • Responsibility for the ongoing development and refinement of the HR policies
    • Support the Senior ER Manager by pro-actively contributing to projects
    • Managing the ER team and working with the HR and other business areas to provide expert employee relations guidance.
    • Ideally from a Professional Services/Financial Services/Retail sector background

    To be successful in this role you will have/need

    • Extensive knowledge of Employee relations and UK Employment Law
    • Proven stakeholder management at senior level
    • Be competent in coaching, guiding and developing business stakeholders
    • Experience of reviewing company policies procedures and T&Cs
    • Be CIPD Qualified or degree equivalent
    • Experience in a similar role
    • From a professional services background is desirable but not essential

    True generalist HR Manager role, supporting a headcount of 200 and managing 2 HR Advisors. This role will manage the day-to-day HR support, proactively and professionally, whilst working with the Senior HR Manager to advise and support managers and employees across a wide spectrum of services.

    You will have/need:

    • Self-motivated – a self-starter, who is used to identifying the most effective way to approach and resolve issues and meet targets and deadlines
    • Ability to develop credible and effective relationships/team working – ability to work effectively at all levels of the company and with external suppliers, on a 1 to 1 basis and as part of a group or team
    • Time management – must be able to work effectively under pressure by prioritising and organising work effectively
    • Good attention to detail and accuracy are essential
    • Flexibility – willing and able to assist in different areas as required
    • Knowledge and understanding of how to deal with confidential issues
    • Ability to deal with various types of correspondence, communication and presentation skills are essential

    Key Duties

      • Order to Cash – ensuring that all revenue streams are billed on an accurate, efficient and timely basis; driving credible revenue reporting and minimising debt.

    Candidate profile
