Global 4 Credit Control Manager Job Description
Duties will include but not be limited too:
- Lead the day-to-day credit control team to keep collections activity proactive and effective.
- Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams to improve payment performance.
- Review and analyse aged debt, spotting trends, risks and opportunities to improve cash collection.
- Ensure that the credit control team resources are effectively applied to maximise cash collection and resolution of issues.
- Produce regular debt reporting and clear insights for senior management and the Board.
- Take ownership of customer disputes and bring in the right people across the business to reach a resolution quickly.
- Keep clear visibility of disputed balances and make sure agreed actions are followed through.
- Run the direct debit collection process, including submissions, reconciliations and failed collections.
- Make sure customer payments are allocated accurately and account queries are resolved promptly.
- Review and maintain bad debt provisions, making sure they are accurate and supported by clear analysis.
- Support cash flow forecasting by providing collection forecasts and updates on significant balances.
- Improve credit control processes, reporting and controls to make the function more efficient and effective.
- Support and develop the credit control team, creating a positive and high-performing environment.
- Make sure collection activity is professional, consistent and in line with company policies.
You will have the following skill set:
- Extensive exposure within an AR or Credit Control position
- Strong commmunication skills
- Seeking that next step up or already an experienced AR/CC Manager
- Ability to get to the office 5 days PW
- Strong excel ability
