We’re looking for an experienced DC Pensions Consultant to join our Defined Contribution (DC) Solutions team in a well respected Pension Consulting firm on a fully remote working basis. In this pivotal role, you’ll use your deep expertise in DC pensions to provide strategic advice and consultancy to our clients. You’ll ensure they remain compliant with regulatory requirements while helping them optimise their pension schemes to meet evolving business and member needs.

You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients and contribute to the delivery and oversight of services for the broader client base, working closely with the talented team of DC specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives.
  • Deliver expert consultancy on DC pension scheme design, governance, investment options, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead regular scheme reviews, ensuring clients’ arrangements are both competitive and compliant.
  • Guide clients through scheme changes, including communication strategies and member engagement plans.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver tailored, integrated pension solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful technical reports and presentations to clients.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Host client meetings and presentations to review scheme performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including scheme valuations and legislative updates.
  • Support scheme implementations and amendments with clear, structured plans.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments and regulatory updates to provide proactive client advice.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including drafting proposals and participating in client pitches.

What We’re Looking For

  • In-depth knowledge of UK DC pension schemes, regulations, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of DC investment options and strategy.
  • Experience delivering clear financial analysis and regulatory reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • A confident relationship builder with strong client management experience.
  • Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and identifying opportunities for business growth.
