Employee Benefits Consultant

This role is for an experienced Health & Risk Consultant to provide expert advice to employers on their employee benefit plans, with a focus on healthcare and group risk. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver real impact for clients, working in a supportive and collaborative environment, joining a team or Health, Risk, and Pension professionals who are committed to providing a first class client experience.

What you’ll do

• Deliver day-to-day consultancy services, advising on the implementation and maintenance of employee benefit plans.
• Provide high-quality advice and ensure outstanding client care and satisfaction.
• Support Client Relationship Managers, Senior Consultants and Service Heads in both developing existing client relationships and winning new business.
• Stay up to date with regulatory requirements, working within FCA guidelines and internal procedures.
• Maintain and grow your expertise through ongoing professional development and annual competency assessments.

Experience Needed:

• Solid experience and technical knowledge in Private Medical Insurance and/or Group Risk (essential).
• Client-facing consultancy experience (essential).
• Relevant qualifications such as IF7, GR1, Certificate in Insurance (CII) or Certificate in Health and Protection (CII) (preferred or working towards).
• Broader knowledge of employee benefits and wellbeing (desirable).
• Strong academic background, including Maths & English GCSE (minimum grade C).
