The Broking & Projects Team delivers high-quality placement solutions and exceptional client service at every stage of the employee benefits journey.

The Role
The role is looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Broker to join the Broking & Projects Team. You will be responsible for managing a large, varied client book and ensuring the effective placement and management of employee benefits schemes. You’ll work closely with Consultants, insurers, and internal teams to deliver first-class solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong insurer relationships, including attending training sessions and understanding strategic partnerships.

  • Work alongside Consultants to meet all broking requirements for new and existing clients.

  • Manage all aspects of new business broking – from scheme research, preparing specifications, issuing to market, and negotiating with insurers.

  • Handle renewal broking management where required, ensuring competitive and effective solutions.

  • Oversee all new scheme implementations, liaising with Client Services Support & Technology teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

  • Provide technical expertise and respond to queries on new business and renewals.

  • Support Consultants in reviewing new and existing pension schemes.

  • Collate and present broking results to Consultants for inclusion in client reports.

  • Conduct due diligence where required.

  • Follow internal processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high client service standards.

  • Contribute ideas to enhance team capabilities and continuously improve client outcomes.

About You

  • Ideally hold or working towards CII qualifications such as GR1 or IF7 and knowledge of the Acturis system would be ideal but not essential.

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with strong problem-solving ability.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Absolute commitment to delivering on client expectations.
