Financial Accountant

Duties will include:

• Report on financial accounting information and reporting as requested & present to senior management.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes & manage timescales.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Review of VAT returns.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Management of fixed assets
• Maintain additional records and information as required to meet the reporting and filing obligations of UK and International subsidiaries.
• Dual responsibility for the preparation of UK & overseas statutory accounts under IFRS in preparation for external audits, liaising with external auditors.
• Support with group and individual corporation tax returns
• Involvement in the management of inventory & stock take.
• Assist with internal audits by providing documentation and explanations

You will have the following skill set

• ACA/ACCA Qualified
• Have a strong financial accounting background either within Audit/Practice or Industry
• Open to someone making the first move from practice or qualified within industry
• VAT returns and month-end closing processes
• Excellent communication ability
• Open to industry but if you have exposure to Inventory this is beneficial
