Duties will include but not be limited too:
- You will play a significant role in managing and promoting a best-in-class financial control and reporting framework.
- Lead key projects such as adoption of IFRS15 and IFRS16, as well as integration of acquisitions.
- Lead internal treasury management requirements
- Managing technical and central accounting areas
- You will ensure that all reconciliations are fully reconciled, documented, evidenced, and approved.
- Additionally, you will identify and follow up on high-risk areas through detailed balance sheet reviews.
- Provide solutions for technical accounting scenarios to commercial teams.
- Lead adoption of IFRS15/16 for group and ensure transition with wider teams
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes
- Manage cash flow position, short and long term, collaborating with wider teams.
- Manage capex spend approvals and compliance.
- Lead the audit process, collaborating with the wider group and Finance team.
You will have the following skill set
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (Practice trained)
- Exposure to working within large corporate environments
- Extensive financial and technical accounting exposure.
- Strong communication skills
- Available to start in February
- Strong statutory accounts experience under IFRS/UK GAAP
